The old choice
Eat the real thing and feel it later. Reach for the 'healthy' stuff and feel let down immediately. Every 'better-for-you' candy brand asks you to accept a tradeoff. Stevia aftertaste. Sugar alcohols that wreck your stomach. Fake chocolate that tastes like a compromise. You know the drill.
We said no to both.
The Nibbles difference
Allulose is technically a sugar, but not all sugars are created equal. Found naturally in figs, raisins, and maple syrup, it's 70% as sweet as regular sugar with the same clean taste and zero aftertaste.
The difference: your body absorbs it but doesn't metabolize it. That means no glycemic impact and just 0.4 calories per gram versus sugar's 4. That's why it shows up as 0g added sugar on our label. The FDA agrees it doesn't behave like one.
Produces virtually no rise in blood sugar or insulin, per the FDA's own review of the science.
Emerging research suggests allulose may support the same metabolic pathways GLP-1 drugs target.
Peer-reviewed published research. Not influencer claims.
Full transparency
We use real milk to make real milk chocolate. Milk naturally contains lactose, a milk sugar. That's where the small amount of sugar on our label comes from. Not table sugar. Not high-fructose corn syrup. Not cane sugar. Just milk, doing what milk does.
Peer-reviewed research shows that when allulose is consumed alongside sugar, it competitively binds to sugar transport sites in your intestine (literally fighting for absorption space) reducing the glucose response by up to 24% and the insulin response by up to 33%. The allulose in every Nibbles bar isn't just replacing sugar. It's actively working against the small amount that's naturally there.
Our Story
I've always loved candy. The kind you opened on the drive home from the store, before the bag hit the kitchen. The kind that felt earned after a long day.
But somewhere along the way, candy made you choose. Eat the real thing and feel it later. Or reach for the 'healthy' stuff and feel let down immediately. I started Nibbles because that's a stupid choice to have to make.
